This year NorthWest Uniting has taken on running one
day of Hillside Playgroup in cooperation with Hills Family Centre and
Rivergum Community Church (formerly Hillside Church). Hillside Playgroup runs
three days a week; Wednesdays are co-ordinated by Hills Family Centre and
Fridays by Rivergum Church. Tuesday is our day of fun and every Tuesday
morning around 20 mums with children and babies gather at the Playgroup House
for lots of craft, free play, stories, songs, yummy morning teas and the
chance to chat and catch up with friends. |

Hillside
Playgroup is unique as there are no rosters, set-up or pack-up by the
parents! It’s simply a time for parents to arrive and relax, to enjoy helping
their kids with some craft and to have time to talk and socialise with other
parents. The theme for Term 2 is Colours! and the craft, stories and other
activities are related to a different colour each week. |

If
you are interested in joining Playgroup or know of someone who is, vacancies
exist on all three days. Fees are $5 per week and are used to purchase craft
supplies, toys, morning teas, and to cover other running costs. Hillside
Playgroup meets at the house next door to the Mean Fiddler (Lot 1 Windsor
